1. Information We Collect
We collect information that you provide directly to us, including your name, email address, and password when you register. For employers, we also collect organisation details, region, sectors, logo and cover images, website and social media links, NZBN, certification claims and supporting documents, job listing content, and payment information. Payment data is processed securely by Stripe; we do not store your credit card details.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to operate the platform, including displaying employer profiles and job listings to jobseekers, processing payments, sending notifications about your listings and certifications, verifying certification claims, providing customer support, and improving our services. For employers, your organisation name, profile, and job listings are publicly visible on the platform.
3. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share information with: (a) Stripe for payment processing; (b) jobseekers, who can view public employer profiles and job listings; and (c) authorities where required by law. Certification documents are reviewed by our admin team and are not made public.
4. Data Retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Job listings are retained while active and may be archived after expiry. Certification documents are retained for the duration of your account. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time, subject to legal retention requirements.
5. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information using industry-standard practices. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe, which is PCI-DSS compliant. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Cookies
We use essential cookies to maintain your authenticated session and remember your preferences. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling them may affect platform functionality.
7. Your Rights
Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information. You may also withdraw consent for the use of your information at any time. To exercise these rights, please contact us at hello@pureground.nz.
8. Children's Privacy
PureGround is not intended for use by individuals under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active users via email. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
